I just received a new follower email from my Twitter account today saying " @smileproject is now following". The avatar was a cute, cartoon painting that read "I leave paintings for folks to take for free across the country and around the world'. How interesting and fun is this? The painter, Bren Bataclan, leaves these whimsical paintings in public places with notes attached like “This painting is yours if your promise to smile at random people more often.” Flat out FREE with the hope that he has brought someone a smile.
Wouldn't it just make your day to find something like this? Wonder what my odds would be of finding one of these in the suburbs of Houston... I'd be dancing the Snoopy Happy Dance all day.

Yes, isn't his work amazing! I now have one of his paintings on my iphone as the opening page to remind me to smile every time I use my phone. And also I have one of his paintings hanging in my house. I see it every day, all day long. It's awesome.
