New Life

I'm hearing a lot of terms lately that sound like oxymorons. Jargon we are not used to hearing in the business world, a world driven by profit at any cost. Terms like karmic management, enlightened business practices, and concepts such as implementing sustainable business practices. Sounds like they've changed the rules in this game from when I took Marketing 101 in college 20+ years ago. At least some folks are playing by a new set of objectives. And when I stumble upon one I love to help spread the word. NouvelleVie is one such company that has joined the movement towards social consciousness in the market place. Their mission is to save children and they do this by supporting women (mom) artisans. It is so refreshing to see fair trade practices, eco-friendly products, combined with charitable opportunities in the commerce sector which is usually all about competing and winning. NovelleVie's passion for supporting family and community is exhibited throughout the website with tabs promoting other organizations that inspire people to practice kindness. I also noticed that the company donates 10 percent of proceeds over $50 to Save the Children. I wasn't surprised to read that NouvelleVie was founded by two working moms. (WOOT! WOOT! for women entrepreneurs)
Thank you SANCIA & HANA for your vision to make a difference in the lives of others.
