KIND Bars Branding

I've seen the KIND energy bars at our local grocery store for a couple of years now and today I finally picked one up to find out exactly what they were selling. I knew the obvious since they were in the health foods section of the store - An energy bar made from ingredients you can pronounce. More natural, wholesome, not over-processed, and yummy it was! You could actually see the pieces of fruit and whole nuts through the package.

On the bar was an invitation to visit The KIND Movement. When I went to the address the first thing that popped up was a congratulatory message to 3 different organizations who had inspired the greatest number of KIND acts. Apparently, the Do the KIND Thing campaign is an event held several times a year because another one begins next month. Underneath that announcement was tab to report recent KINDINGS (an unexpected KIND act done to someone else), a list of a kindness causes, a form to join the movement and get a KIND card that can be tracked, and a KINDNESS blog. Wonder what super genius thought of that :*)

KIND is living up to its brand name by donating 100,000 to the KIND Thing campaign and KIND donates 5 percent of profits from sales to the  PeaceWorks Foundation. A company making a great product and a positive social impact.
