My KindNotes™ experience

I was contacted a couple of months ago by a company called Kind Notes, a manufacturer of customizable message jars with notes in mini envelopes to open daily and promote kindness. The founder had come across String-Ring and wanted to interview me. Of course, I was just as curious about her business and, therefore, recently ordered one of these unique gifts for my sister. Well, it arrived yesterday and I'd love to share this wonderful gift idea with you. KindNotes™ is a decorative jar filled with 31 notes for the recipient to open each morning for the next 31 days. Perfect for my sister to celebrate the entire month of her birthday!

I was worried at first that the process to order would get complicated with so many choices. But I was wrong-it was so easy! The customer may order from a ready-made collection or make their own KindNotes™ gift by going through the wizard. This was 5 easy steps of picking out a container, filler, envelopes, ribbon, and messages. We (my son and I) chose the option of sending the order to us so we could handwrite our own personal messages. They offer 31 pre-printed messages or a service which hand-writes your personal messages if you wish. This would be preferable if you wanted the gift sent directly to the recipient. But I really think our personal touch will be appreciated in this case so we can reminisce on some of our memorable moments shared. Then we finalized it with a cute little charm reading "All My Love" that comes in a little velour pouch. I was trepidatious in hitting the complete order button since I did add a charm and am on a tight budget, but it was still under $30 (less shipping charges). Oh, my sister is going to love this! She always puts a lot of creative effort into birthday gifts and this is one she has never seen. Looking forward to filling these note cards today with our birthday wishes for her to read each day this month. My son picked out a purple theme with ribbon and note cards because this is the color he picked for her as a young toddler. You see, he has a lot of aunts and he has designated a color to each one. With every visit to this Aunt's house he would bring purple roses. This present is just oozing with sentiment..aunts love that stuff!

There is one problem. I won't be able to top this next year =P
