Uplifting Kindness

I have met a small army of remarkable people through social media. Their attributes run the gamut from gifted artists to patrons of generosity with no end. Blogging about these heroes, in this case she-roe, is my favorite pastime. You must meet Tabitha.
She speaks in such a sweet and friendly manner that you could never doubt her authenticity. I met her on Twitter and her Tweets are just as heartfelt as her speach. You can hear her story of philanthropy on Co-CreatorNetwork, interviewed by Mary Adams.
Tabitha spent her first 3 years of life in a hospital and knows first-hand about the challenges that life often brings. Told she would never be able to function in society, the doctors now stand corrected. Her story is one of gratitude, optimism, and giving back with the project she created called A Fiveoh4 Upliftin. http://afiveoh4uplifting.org mission statement is, "to uplift anyone in need of a smile" by mailing goody bags from the non-profit organization she has created. These gifts go to both children and adults in hospitals, battling illness or disability, and individuals living in homeless shelters.
Tabitha emailed me yesterday saying the mission was in dire need of postage stamps in order to complete their holiday goody bags. I told her I would gladly spread the word and jumped right on the site to donate using the postage drive donate button on the left hand side of the page. It is quick and easy, accepting paypal accounts and major credit cards. I also noticed a wish list for those wanting to help spread smiles with gift cards, toys, or through funds collected from purchases at Oriental Trading.
Please visit Tabitha's site A Fiveoh4 Upliftin to find out more about her desire to spread smiles one goody bag at a time.

Thank You!!
I will never forget your kindness...Ever!
It's a struggle, but knowing kind people like you give me strength to go forward.
With my whole heart I thank you!
Tabitha
